I would like to introduce you, at least to the ones that you may not know him, Guenter Eh, an excellent photographer from Frankfurt, Germany and a very good friend. Photography is his passion. Walking in Frankfurt, or traveling around the world, his major interest is humanity. Through his eyes and his lens, people and their feelings are being impressed with a unique and emotional way. He considers himself as a street photographer. The truth is that besides his already proven skills on the streets, his creativity has no limits when it comes to digital art. The birth of The Art Photo online shop

I spent 20 years working as a business executive. Trapped following specific strategies, among forms and formulas that modern marketing dictates. However, there has always been an outlet from the sterilized world of business; my ever-lasting passion for photography. Collision was inevitable and the outcome was the revision of the way I lead my life, my leaving the business world and getting occupied with photography on a permanent level.

So I was led into an exciting journey, with cameras, shootings, endless walking and searching for everything that express my inner world, exhibitions, fine art photography, models, communication with other photographers around the world, preparation of my first photo exhibition, and above all, to a more emotional and philosophy-oriented approach of things, thus setting free my imagination and giving me absolute freedom of expression.

A stopover of this journey is The Art Photo online shop. My love for fine art photography and my appreciation to other photographers’ work, led me to this creation. An online place where photographers could show their work to public and people could easily find images with a more artistic approach and buy for themselves or their friends, in a low price. A place, where, people and photographers could communicate and exchange ideas. Also, I strongly believe to individualism, creativity, personality, communication, and I don’t believe in mass situations and photo “supermarkets”. That’s why, in the Art Photo online store, photos are printed in a limited edition of 15. It’s not nice, people that might have bought an image and decorated their place, to find the same image in hundreds other places. Limitation in Art Photography, regardless of prices, is a “must”.

I would love to promote the work of other photographers. My main goal is to find and present you, on a regular basis, new projects that I really admire.

I’d love to welcome all of you to this effort, hoping that The Art Photo, in a short period of time, could be the place for art photography lovers!
